This summer we threw a garden party to celebrate my mother 70th birthday party. This short video shows us at home with styling ideas on how to dress the marquee, buffet lunch and welcome drinks, as well a kids picnic in a bell tent.

As a maximalist with a passion for colour psychology, I chose green as the core colour for my bedroom - it’s a perfect choice for creating a restful, restorative and soothing space. The entire palette was inspired by the stunning “Wonderland Floral” wallpaper from my collection with @harlequinfw. I layered in blues and burnt oranges, playing with patterns and textures to create a bold, yet elegant retreat. And honestly, I love how it turned out. I sleep like a baby and feel fabulous! First week we’ve had the heating on and it’s g First week we’ve had the heating on and it’s got me feeling like I want to embrace the changing season and make the house feel cosy. 💡With the shorter days lighting becomes transformational and I make sure there is an abundance of lamps and scented candles dotted throughout my home 💡 Soft textures and lots of layers bring the cosy feel in spades. Velvet cushions, woollen blankets, bed throws and even rolling out deep wool rugs all add to the feeling of warmth. 💡 Nature is splendid outside this time of year. I’m picking the last of my dahlias and mixing them in with autumn leaves for a rustic colour palette.
