I’m seriously crushing over this colour combo. And I’m just seeing it everywhere. It’s popping all over Instagram and Pinterest. Ever since I saw that front cover from Living Etc almost a year ago I just can’t get it out of my mind. Anyone would be forgiven to thinking Blush Pink was the new grey as it’s the current darling of the deisgn world. But it’s too pussie on its own for me. I love the way the emerald green butches up the fluffiness and makes for such a sassy space. I’ve worked hard on my husband for this scheme to go in our master bedroom. I think it would be the perfect palette to sleep in. Pink is so soft and nurturing and then green has that healthy feel good vibe. But I keep getting a road block definitive No from him. He’s just not a pink kind of guy. I’m thinking I could maybe push for it in our family bathroom. Maybe with some palm print wallpaper and brass taps. Meanwhile I’m going to vent my frustrations on you lot by sharing some of my most crush-worthy green and pink pretty pictures. Enjoy!
This image which was used for the front cover of Living Etc was a seminal moment for me. I love everything about this image. The nod to Palm Springs glamour with the jungle print fabric, gold Starburst chandelier light and totally over the top ostrich floor lamp. It’s pure Margo from the Good Life and that’s a style goal I think we should all be aiming for.
Taking a stylistic swerve now but I’m doting on this beautiful country house kitchen, as seen in the home of all time girl crush Solange Azagury Partridge. Pale pink is the perfect choice for a country house and the green painted cabinet and collection of green Le Cruset pots and plates really make it pop. As they are on opposite side of the colour spectrum you always get that high contrast which I love.
Killing it as always is the uber stylist extraordinaire Emily Henderson. And to prove how ahead of the curve she is, Here’s her guest bedroom from 4 years ago! I love the way the dark emerald green really envelopes you in the space. Neat little idea not to take it all the way to the ceiling too. And doesn’t that vase of flowers look divine against the dark. Love love love.
How sensationally decadent is this living room with its deep green, almost teal walls with the super soft pink sofa popped in its midst. I think mines a martini
I’d love to know what you think of this colour crush. Is it something you could live with, or maybe a green pot plant, popped in the corner is as far as you’d want to take it!
This is so helpful, i enjoyed reading this. Keep up the good work. Please check how to trade with candlesticks
